1st exit Sitges

V his is a new post for you about my first trip outside Barcelona!
was Sunday, March 18, there was a rally of vintage cars between Barcelona and Sitges. They called it's a rally, but rather was a parade of the different models. The paraded through the streets of downtown. Vincent and I took the opportunity to see the arrival of the rally in Sitges.
This city is Barcelona known for its beautiful beaches, quiet part of town and its beauty. It is located 40km south of Barcelona.

We arrived at around noon, our day will summarize the arrival of the rally followed by a small passage to the beach!

Here are some pictures of what we saw in the street and the square near the beach.

It was noticed that many cars had license plates French is to say that this rally should be well known! It was the 49th year that the rally was taking place. Even car passengers were dressed like the beginning of the twentieth century.
was certainly very interesting and very pretty sight!

After that towards the beach with our little gelato in hand. We saw that there were 20 people waiting for ice, so we said they should be good. Was the case! In addition to the fragrances are varied, it ranges from the Catalan cream kinder via tiramusu and vanilla with cookies! That's what

resemble the beaches of Sitges. They are especially beautiful and cleaner than those of Barcelona. So why was this city that is five times the numbers of people!

Here are two pictures of the beach with the church of Sitges in the background. Note that the photo is taken right foot in the water ;-).

We are finally a picture, feet in water. I remind you that we are mid-March, it must be about 25 ° C. We thought the water would be cold, but after a few seconds feet in the water you realize it is almost good for swimming! What will I be right in June and July!

After the beach, a small break in a seaside bar to drink our little cold beer, it has done us well in this heat!

On this last photo of the city we see a little style buildings. Much of buildings, houses are also white, which gives a fairly unique style not found in Barcelona.

By late afternoon, so we returned to Barcelona on the streets along the sea road was in the middle of a mountain of rocks on our left and a precipice on our right leading directly into the sea
Casteldelfells We've been through, a town near Barcelona with also a beautiful beach, as can be seen in the last photo.

That day is over, this little trip we will have changed a little air, finding a quiet little town more than Barcelona, with more beautiful beaches. I think I will return several times in Sitges to enjoy the beach thing I could not do back in Belfast!

Evening Standard: ovel Negra Chupito + + disco

C 'is the weekend, and like every weekend we go out to bars before leaving in a box to end the evening! We are all full with Simon, Jerome and Rodrigo Of course, we've joined Virginia as an intern Noticias like us, Audrey and her roommate and a Vincent Erasmus. He is 23h

we start our evening by going slowly at first in a bar very nice and very warm at the top of La Rambla. The bar is called ovel Negra (chuuuttttttt. .... lol).

After queued at the bar and found places to sit, you can savor the traditional jug of Sangria well cool!

After finishing our little pitcher 2L, direction Chupito our usual second bar, located at the bottom of the Rambla. La Rambla is just as busy and get to the bottom means that we will meet with a score of "Paki beer." As the name suggests these are Paquistanais selling beer to 1 € (warning possible negotiation for the purchase of several lool!). At first they replied politely that we do not want, but after 2Oième attempted sale of beer by a Paki, or one is not responding .... we do like Simon, they belch at the mouth! Mdr . Be admitted that it gets boring to strength!

La Rambla is also the place where you can find a large number of flyers distributed mainly by pretty girls. So we stop every time, and recovered a Flyer into the collection. I already have around thirty. These little "pass" or allow us to enter in box for free (while admission is free at the base ...), or have a small shooter available for the purchase of a drink.

But no question of going into one of these bars with our Flyer, we are heading straight towards our favorite bar, the Chupito where we are regulars now, and the waitress gives us quite often a small shooter arrived!

We finally arrived, it is almost 1am, the bar is still full, like every weekend. That evening was present and therefore present Virginia Vincent that can be seen on the pictures above. There was also another student Ludovic de Noticias with his roommate. Vincent and Virginia discovered the Chupito that night, so he had them taste a little shooter, let them drink from the jar as Vincent. Without forcing, Vincent also wanted to Monica Lewinsky that he did not know, it reminded me of some memories of my first week in Barcelona!

We also wanted to go box, so we have to go and get the last train that passes at 2am. So we come to the Mojito in less than a half hour ... it's just a fiesta party started!

This disco is cool because people inside are all casiment English in Barcelona, there are very few tourists French or English! The atmosphere and music are better and we spent a wonderful evening. Simon and Jerome have even talked to 2 girls and 2 guys that we had found the following weekend in the box, but unfortunately we have not returned!

It is now 5am, the box closes, there is so much back to bed. So it was a great night, and that's an almost every weekend since mid-February!

second visit Parc Güell

J e keeps my little visits to Barcelona with surely the most beautiful park there in Barcelona: Parc Guell, which is located to the west in Barcelona.

The park was originally intended to be an area of res identielle 17 hectares, but the project fell into the water and this area is now one of the most amazing parks in the world, built in large part by Gaudi. The park welcomes thousands of visitors each day.

It was nice there this Saturday and we decided with Simon and Jerome to take the subway and we get to Parc Guell and enjoy the sun visit and rest a little in this park.
Once we returned within one believes in a wonderful world, with magical special constructions with enor
accordance ceramics.

We continue the visit with the best-known symbol of the park, which is the ceramic lizard. We also have a beautiful hall called Sala Hipòstila with its 86 columns and ceramics all over the ceiling.

Above this hall of columns, is the central park with benches shaped serpentine also colored ceramic. Since then we have a place for the whole city of Barcelona to the Mediterranean.

Parc Guell is also a place full of palm trees, very pleasant to relax surrounded by all this greenery!

So we spent a good part of the post noon we walk in the park, it is both returning and rest before the start of the evening ahead rather busy with Chupito and ovel Negra then surely the end of the evening in a box!

In conclusion I would say this is the place for the most magical moment I've visited since my arrival in Barcelona. Moreover
Park Güell was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.
